Lets just say his death has impacted me in a lot of ways. Kobe as a basketball player was woke. I just feel like me and Kobe were on a same journey and thats why Lebron was my favorite player because he was different then kobe in a sense that he was team oriented and good around all fields but Kobe deep down was my favorite ball player without even knowing. Me and Kobe can relate that we dont like following other people directions. Me and Kobe are very competitive. And Kobe took shit to heart like me. The only difference Kobe and me had was that he was ready to face his darkness and let his light shine through it. Me, I was scared of other people opinions of me and never rose against it yet. Kobe has taught me that he once wasnt the best kid playing ball growing up and that he loved the game so much that he used focus and discipline to gain knowledge of the game growing up. I've been woken up by his death and forgot my journey beforehand. What I know is that Kobe had the biggest spirit and his energy will get passed to an worthy soul that is capable to do better then what he did and also look up to his foundation view of the game
