When I first heard the news about the helicopter crash and Kobe's death it didn't really register in my mind that Kobe was actually gone. Although I am a Raptors fan I knew Kobe was well known and a legend in the NBA community. I also knew that he had amazing qualities and overall was an amazing motivational speaker.
I don't have much to say about Kobe as I don't follow him that much but it was really tragic to hear what had happened. I knew he had a family of 4 girls that he cherished so much. He made it clear that he loved being a father of girls through his motivational speeches. After Kobe's death, I started to look at things he did during his life and the things he taught the world. One major thing he taught everyone was the 10 rules of success and because of him, I added some of these work ethics and strategies to my high school life, home life, and my mindset.
RIP Kobe and Gianna Bryant.
